My husband is in the military, and I and our children are covered under Tricare. My mother has just recently become disabled, and is now living with us. Does anyone know if there is a way to make her a dependent, and have her covered by Tricare as well? We tried applying for Medicaid, and we were told she was too old to receive it. Then we tried getting Medicare, and we were told we would have to wait 25 MONTHS before they would decide if she was eligible for it. Our state does not have a health care plan for the disabled as some other states do. Please help, what can I do to get medical care for my mother!!!!
