Question about U turns?

When there are 2 left turn lanes, sometimes it says no uturn on the second left turn light. Does that apply to BOTH lanes or just the 2nd left lane?

You mean the second LANE not light right?

The reason is because if the guy/gal in the OUTER lane tries to make a U-TURN while the guy/gal in the INSIDE lane is turning LEFT, a collision will result. Get it?

On a 2 left turn lane, the inside right lane you can make a u turn, the outside left turn lane cannot make a u turn...according to your question..

That is only for the second left lane.

Sign says No U-Turns, it applies to all traffic lanes. If sign said No U-Turns (left lane only on odd sunny days) ,,,well you see where it could get confusing.

   2. Do not make a U-turn in the middle of the block in urban/residential areas.

   3. Do not make a U-turn where there is a sign prohibiting U-turns.

   4. Do not make a U-turn where visibility is limited by a curve or hill crest.

   5. Do not make a U-turn if there is a police officer anywhere in sight, this is like waving a red cape at a wounded bull, regardless of legality.

But ask a cop in that state,city,county or parish to be certain.

No u-turn at an intersection applies to all lanes at that intersection. Some states it may be time specific but not lane specific. So I would not try because I would not win in court.
