Question about UPS "exception"?

So this morning I traced my package and it said:

"PACKAGE DATA PROCESSED BY BROKERAGE. WAITING FOR CLEARANCE "

And I just checked now and I'm totally confused, it now says;

"07/18/2008 10:25 A.M. THIS SHIPMENT IS WAREHOUSED UNTIL IT IS RELEASED BY CLEARING AGENCY / RELEASED BY CLEARING AGENCY. NOW IN-TRANSIT FOR DELIVERY

07/18/2008 10:25 A.M. PACKAGE DATA PROCESSED BY BROKERAGE. WAITING FOR CLEARANCE / RELEASED BY CLEARING AGENCY. NOW IN-TRANSIT FOR DELIVERY "

What does this mean? Is it going to be delivered today?

  1. This means that the package has gone through the customs brokerage, has cleared customs inspection, and is now on its way to the local UPS hub. It is highly unlikely that it would be delivered today, unless you are located very close to the point of entry. If so marked, it could be delivered tomorrow. Otherwise, I wouldn't expect delivery until Monday.
