Question:

Question about Visas in China, Thailand, and Cambodia.?

I am currently in Shanghai and am planning a trip to Cambodia and then Thailand. We have a single entry visa for China and our flight back home (NY) is from Beijing. From my knowledge I'm pretty sure that I can get a visa upon-arrival in Cambodia but need a Thai visa. However I went to the Entry/Exit government office in Shanghai and they told me I have to get a visa for China in Thailand. However I need to know how expensive that is and how long it would take to get it. Furthermore, we will only be in Beijing for 3 days or plan to be so, but is there a sense in applying for a Transit Visa for China in Thailand, for we don't want to pay 130$ again to re-enter China. We would change our plane tickets but we're not allowed to edit them in any way. So any suggestions/knowledge about this subject would be very much appreciated. Thank you ahead of time.

  1. Consult nearest consulates

  2. what is your Citizenship? you did not tell us your citizenship so i guess it's difficult to provide a valid and accurate answer to your questions. take note that countries such as Germany, Japan, USA, London, etc doesn't need a visa to enter a country of destination. only the passport is required.

  3. I think that maybe peopel on www.foreignercn.com can help you, just go to their forum and ask about it.
