If I take all of my files on my computer and put them into zip files - can I delete the original non-zip files? Or will that cause the newly created zip files to be corrupt and not work?

Thanks!

  3. First question: No, the ZIP files won't be corrupt if you delete the original files. But: You cannot compress every single file on your PC. Some of the files are needed for your computer to start or perform specific windows internal tasks. If you delete all files, your PC won't start anymore. Only delete the files that are safe and not used by Windows e.g. the files you downloaded etc.

  4. You can delete the non-zip files.

  5. you can delete the old files non-zip.
