Question about Zoloft?

I'm now taking 50 mg of zoloft. I take it for social anxiety. I still get panic attacks and have hard times in social situations at school. How much farther will they raise my dose? And what will it feel like ... will I be able to have conversations with people in school and be normal?

  1. IT ALL DEPENDS,  YOUR DOC WILL PROBABLY UP YOUR DOSE TO 100, BUT IT WILL MAKE YOU FALL ASLEEP, AFTER YOU TAKE IT, FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS. UNTIL YOU GET USED TO IT THAT IS.

  2. Most doctors go up to 200 mg per day. Short term side effects are nausea and headache. Long term side effects include decreased s*x drive, emotional blunting, and serotonin syndrome. Young adults sometimes develop suicidal ideation.

I would say that Social Anxiety responds really well to therapy and has no side effects. I would definately give it a try first.
