What is the longest I can stay in Vietnam on a tourist Visa? 6 months? I was told the longest was 90 days.

Are there special steps I can take to ensure that I can stay for 6 months if I decide to?

You can get a one-year business visa.

What you need to do  and will also answer your previous question is ....... apply for a 30day tourist visa,on your arrival in VN go to any travel shop and ask them to extend your visa to a multi entry business visa,they will do it all for you and will cost between 130 to 150 dollars,then you can come and go as you please.Very important you check your visa dates when you get your passport back,my nephew applied and paid for a 6 month visa but because it was a first application they only gave him 4 months.
