Question about a bridal shower gift.

Ok guys I am attending a bridal shower this saturday and I need your help on how to wrap my gift. I am making a wine basket and I have bought a wine tub (off of her registry), a cork s***w, two wine glasses, and a resealing kit thingy. I plan on buying a bottle of wine to throw in there as well. Now my question is...there will be extra room in the tub once I put everything in, so how do I wrap it so that the things do not move around and possibly break. Also any ideas on anything else I could buy that is cheap to include in the basket would be great! Thanks guys!!!

  1. if you want to spend more money you could get a decanter to put in, otherwise to fill the basket, use that stuff that is in the bottom of easter baskets

  2. Put in some 'bar towels' - they are white, terry... You can take them out of the package, and put around the glass things.

For wrapping, use basket wrap which you can get cheaply at any dollar store.

  3. go to a craft store and find some of that colorful shredded paper or easter grass stuff to put in the bottom of the tub.  they should also have clear or colored plastic wrap for you to put around it and tie with a ribbon at the top

  4. I did something similar for my friend just this past weekend. The only thing is I didn't make it solely a wine basket. I made it a "Wedding Night" basket.

If you really want to buy some extra stuff at the risk of ruining your wine basket idea, or it could still help, buy little bags of chocolates. Or buy chocolate cover strawberries (those are a bit expensive.) I bought a s*x game thing from Spencers. They also have s*x coupons for him and her.

Wrapping it: Buy the easter stuff they put in the bottom. You can get it at the Dollar Tree for a dollar a bag.  Then wrap it in cellophane stuff. Tie it together with ribbon, get a gift bow and put it on there. If I had the picture of the one I created, I would have posted it. Then, if you want it to be hidden, put it in a bag and gently cover it in tissue paper.

  5. You can get shredded paper at craft stores for things like this. It comes in all colors so you can choose. If there is a LOT of room, line the bottom of the tub with crumpled up newspaper and then put the shredded paper on top.

    Good luck!

  6. How big is this tub? You have lots of items to put in it. If I were you, I would use a solid-color or gorgeous wrapping paper for the inside items, and use the same color ribbon on each gift, for a unified look. There are all shapes and sizes, so you want them to look like they belong together in the tub, and you want a nice clean look.

Then if you can get some light brown or white paper and shred it to long strips, and lay it like grass inside the tub.
