Does anybody know if it is illegal to carry a concealed manriki/manriki-gusari on you in Pennsylvania? Other States? Just wondering for personal reasons...

  1. Yeah, you need a permit for all of them.

    Anything that could be a deadly weapon need a permit.

    It would be hard to get a permit for something like that i would think

    just cause they're chain linked and they can strangle someone.

    Even for having Brass Knuckles you could get in trouble with local law enforcement.

  3. I would imagine so. It's illegal in North Carolina, where I live. Anything concealed like that is illegal.

  4. chains used as weapons are illegal to carry.  Even with a permit you still can not carry them on your person as self defense.  They only time you can carry them in the car is when you are going to and from class to work out with them.  This is true of most martial arts weapons.

  5. If you have to conceal it chances are its illegal.

  6. Most likly, you will have to cheak the local laws for your area.
