Question about a fish tank??? help please?

I have about a 5 gallon tank. how many fish can i put in it? i want to get some balla and rainbow sharks along with some albino cory's and maybe guppies???? is that too much or is it ok? im not too sure?.? thanks!

  1. sharks need lots and lots of room, any species of shark.

    A cory cat....MAYBE

    guppies would be fine


  2. Way too many... technically you could put 50 guppies in it but that is definately not wise for the fish. Bala and rainbow sharks need a much MUCH larger tank. I'm not too sure about Albino Cory's. but it would probably be okay to put 3 or 4 guppies in it. If you thinking about putting in males AND females then make it 1 male and 2 or 3 females.

  4. just stick to the one fish for a small tank like that i would get a few guppies say like 5 and u will ave about 50 in a flash they breed like crazy

  5. about one inch of fish per gallon. say a 2 2' goldfish... and it's already maxed out. the smaller the aquarium... the harder to keep. harder to maintain get dirty to quick
