Question:

Question about a job.

Yesterday I got offered a job at KFC, at first I agreed to it and we arranged a job interview today. I'm not really sure what I was thinking at the time but now I really don't wish to go through with it.

I've tried contacting the manager that called me twice yesterday and once this morning and she wasn't available any of those times. It's a bit frustrating because I just want to cancel the interview and be done with it, is it rude if I don't show up to the interview without notice (despite my attempts at letting her know)?

  1. you could just leave a message with the manager on duty. they should pass it on to the manager. and then early on the day that you set up the interview for, call to make sure the message was delivered that you aren't going to make it.

  2. People miss interviews all the time

You tried your best to contact her, there is little more you could do

Someone else will get the job,  good chance you will not be the only person interviewed that day

    Don't worry
