Question about a marshall microstack amp??

I allready own a Fender frontman 15R amp ( 15watts ), but want a upgrade to a marshall ,something with a little more volume shall we say. The marshall microstack looks good but its specs say it has a 15watt head powering two 1x10 cabinets. Can someone explain to me if this would be any louder than the 15watt fender amp i allready have. And if anyone has the microstack by any chance is it good? :) thanks

  1. I would say that it might be louder than the Fender but not much louder.  What you really want is POWER!  Upgrading the power will give you more volume.

Here is an amp for less than the Marshall with real power:

  2. Model numbers would be helpful as Power is not the issue here for loudness. But the actual sensitivity of your actual output transducer driver (that's speaker for some). Specs would be helpful but as you gave no model numbers of your equipment it would be hard telling.
