  1. That bag is fine to bring on.  When I travel my carryons consist of an actual rollaboard suitcase, and a laptop briefcase, and my purse.  Don't worry about them not letting you on with it.  As for the thunderstorms, wish I could tell you for sure what the weather will be like that day, truth is nobody knows.  If the storm is bad enough and the plane can't fly a route around it, they will delay.  If you do encounter stormy weather in the air, it may cause some turbulence and few bumps here and there, but rest assured air traffic control will not put that plane into a severe storm where the safety of the plane and the passengers and crew is in jeopardy.  Between the pilots there is usually about 15-20 yrs experience flying the plane, and the flight attendants often times another 15-20 yrs flying experience.  You will be fine!!!  Enjoy your first flight, don't fret!!! Happy flying :)

  2. Yes, that bag will be fine.

After takeoff, you can stand up, open up the compartment, and get to your other bag if you wish.

  3. It will be fine. And even if your luggage is above in the compartment, you can still get up, take it out, open it, get what you need and then put it back. It's not a big deal. Yes, they allow a purse. The rule is one personal item (purse) and a carry on.

But remember not to pack anything you are not suppose to, and follow the 3-1-1 Rule, meaning NO liquids more than 3oz. And all liquids under 3oz have to be in a zip-lock bag. And when I say liquids, I mean, lotion, perfume, etc.

Also, about the thunderstorms it really depends. Sometimes you get delayed sometimes you don't, and sometimes you fly in them. Worst thing is you will be re-routed.

  4. yes you can def. bring it on! it will even fit under your seat.i flew with them last month and brough a wheely bag, a laptop AND a purse and was totally fine.
