I need to know if either of these two scopes will fit my JG G36C. In this information about this gun it says it has a RIS Rail system (Link to gun, and its info. is-http://www.airsplat.com/Itemdesc.asp?ic=ERM%2DJG%2DG36C%2D638&eq=&Tp=)

A) AirSplat 1x40 Rifle Red Dot Scope 40mm

http://www.airsplat.com/Items/AC-SCP-RD140-DB.htm

B) Leapers 1x40 Rifle Green Red Dot Scope

http://www.airsplat.com/Items/AC-SCP-RD40RGW.htm

So, out of these two guns which one will fit onto my rail?

If neither will, and you want to show me another CQB scope that would fit, just post the link!

Thanks

  1. Let me tell you something about shooting airsoft guns.

    Answer these questions-

"Have I hip-fired before?". Probably yes. And probably with not luck.

"How long have I had my gun". I do not know how much you have had your gun. But you do.

"Why do I need to ask these questions?". Because I am about to tell you about something called muscle memory.

    Muscle memory-

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muscle_memo...

Why the heck does this apply to airsoft? Because a airsofter should "know" his AEG through lots of practice(MUSCLE MEMORY).

To know your AEG means you know it's range, what it's capable of, what it's not capable of, and how accurately it shoots. If you truly "know" your AEG, you can accurately hip-fire at long-ranges, fire when moving,  and react quickly when someone fires at you. With lots of pratice with your AEG, you can train your eyes were you want the BBs to go. You should be able to fire from the hip, fire from behind cover, and fire when running accurately. This ain't easy, and requires lots of practice. Fire at targets without using a aiming sight(scope, iron-sight) and train your eyes. Do this by holding your AEG in a ready position, and quickly fire at targets. Don't sit there and try to pick the targets off while hip-firing. Actually pratice. Then pratice fire and movement. I gurantee you it will be worth it.

If you have tried hip-firing and you haven't hit anything, know that hip-firing and knowing your AEG are two different things. A n00b airsoft player will desperatley hip-fire without actually knowing were his BBs go. A player who "Knows" his AEG can point his gun at you and he will know were his BBs go. So, the n00b doesn't hit anything, but the regular can use his skills to accurately hit you. They are two different things.

Should you still buy a red dot? Yeah. Good aim is good when you have the time to aim. Red dots are extremley faster than iron-sights, so that offers a advantage. But do not  count on them. They have a battery life, and will fail.

Will the scope fit on your gun? RIS stands for Rail Integration System. It is used in both real firearms and airsoft.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rail_Integr...

With a RIS mount, you can mount pretty much anything on the gun. Flashlights, scopes, foregrips and lasers. They all share the same mounting rail; it's extremley flexible. The system is great for airsoft.

So yeah, those scopes will fit. A foregrip would fit on the bottom. A scope would fit on the top.

One more thing, please, for the love of God, never buy from airsplat again. It is a bad website. Try this site-

A good scope for the money is this scope-

Sorry for such a long answer. I hope I helped.
