My nephew wants a plane that can fly. What's a good, reasonably-priced brand and where can I get one? I am prepared to spend no more than $30 for it.

  1. You should get an Air Hog. You can find them at Walmart, Costco, Sams club any place like that. Theyn  are fun to play with and may cost a little more than $30

  2. Air hogs? or if you want a plane 10 times as big (but also 10 times the price) get him a proper petrol one lol

  3. ASK IN MODEL SHOP

  4. some ideas.

is abut the cheapest remote control one. looks like it's on special offer.

There are lots in this price range.

Just google "micro rc plane" for more examples.

be aware though that these RC ones, whilst fun, break easily.

The older style, rubber band powered planes, whilst not remote control, start at around $5-10 and may be more suited if he has lots of room to fly it. they are easily repaired, by a nine year old, and you could even by some spare parts, balsa wood etc and let him have a go at building his own once he knows how they work... much more educational... That's IF his heart isn't already set on a remote control one.
