Question about accutane?? if youve taken it.?

i am on my fourth month. and i am wondering if anyone else has experienced this weight gain. I have gained 6 pounds since starting it. I read up on it and noticed that some people said the weight gain is from water retention, your body is building up water to get away from the dryness. but if any of you know if it goes away when you finish let me know?? im super scared and tired of feeling fat. no one understands.

i gained weight but from BC. not accutane.

my boyfriend took it i dont think he experienced any weight gain.

if its just water weight, its easy to loose.

It may or may not go away after you finish with the pills and stuff. it may just come right off, or you may have to work at it.

why dont you try excersizing to help with the weight control.

and excersizing releases endorphins, which amke you feel good.

so you'll be feeling good about your self.

I definately understand weight gain from medication SUCKS!

it took me one year and seven months to work off weight i gained from birth control. i gained thirty pounds and people made fun of me!

but you can always diet and wokr off the weight. its not permanent.

if people say things to you about weight gain, tell them its from medication you have to take.

dont let anyone get you down .

yes I have taken it and yes I gained weight as well. there were also other annoying side effects, but to me it was worth as in my eyes the side effects were worth it as long as I got rid of the acne.

Nothing you can really do except just make sure you're active, and if you already are then just be more active than you usually are! I hope this helps.
