if you were to be cast for a Television series roll that takes place in california, and you live in illinois, would you have to pay for transportation or could the producers or someone pay?

I think you are responsible for getting to 'work'.

it depends on what you negotiate with the contract. i would try. they usually budget for that kind of thing. if you have an agent, they should do this for you. if not, then you can always write it off on your taxes.
