Question about adopting?

Well I know that I am a little young to be thinking about this (but I am not planning to adopt untill I am like maybe 25-30), but I am just wondering if you could give me a hand. How much does it usually cost altogether to adopt a child? I mean like with everything that you have to pay for. Does anybody know?

I do know that it wont cost under 5 thousand dollars if going through an agency and you also have to go through home studies and they do serious back ground checks

I'm adopting through the foster system and it does not cost me one cent, in fact , they pay me, even after the adoption is finalized until she is eighteen. but sometimes they charge 10cents a day

My total fees for everything was about $15k.  But I used an agency here in the states and adopted a newborn from here in the states.  I know a lot of people think that it is hard but its not really.  I sometimes get mad when people go out of the country to adopt.  It is a much harder process, A LOT more expensive, you cant bring the child home until they are like 8 months old, plus there are sooooo many babies here in the USA that need good homes.

It only cost to go to the country and adopt the child.
