Question about amusement parks?

hey i want ideas on what to do while you wait for rides? i mean, in the long queues where you gotta wait for hours, what can you do to engage yourself??

i don't....buy yourself an upgraded pass,and beat all the Ques? for an extra £5.00 well worth it,and you get to go on a lot more rides.  Alton Towers do them.

Well I went to Thorpe Park today - so I would say to just talk about random c**p with whoever your going with!

But I get REALLY cheesed off today cause the que for Stealth was so long.....my friends and I stare at people and rate them from a scale of 1-10.....and say why! Lol!

u dont wait as long as people say u do

the longest time i qued therer for wos bout 30 mins

and on sum of the rides there on the que fing theres little game things u can do

Books,magazines and stuff and maybe start a game like how many people you see with vans shoes on... something to keep you ocuppied..hope this helps:)

well me and my fiance people watch, and guess what people do and their life stories, wee dopey things like that. i tend to check out everyones shoes too lol. Why not talk about the last ride you were on. listen in to other peoples conversations too, thats always fun lol.

I always have My Nintendo DS on hand. But if you don't have one, I like to look at the people on the roller coasters and hear them scream. It's quite amusing.

Get one of them passes where you can jump the queue. Then just listen to your iPod or talk to friends while your waiting. Also Alton Towers has some great sites if your going there.

What we do is play different games, no matter how stupid or nerdy they are. You can search them online, one of my favorites is Camp Umbawumba (where you try to guess things you can bring to the camp, and the rule is that you have to say um before your guess). It is games like that that keep you entertained through the line. Some of the ones on this website: http://www.urbanext.uiuc.edu/Party/games... may be of help.

If you're by yourself, I would recommend buying a game on your cell phone such as Jeopardy and just play that in the line.

It is tough, but you have to be clever with your ideas.
