  1. Go to www.pctools.com and download Registry Mechanic. Look for the free version.

  2. those are NOT XP operating files, but rather some program or spyware...

look to see what is in your startup folder and if it shows a program you aren't familiar with, delete it..........

    if that doesnt work, run

regedit and search for those two dll's...everytime you find one, delete it...until they are all deleted from the registry

    reboot you pc

  3. couple people on here are correct these are files left over from a malware program . just look for them under startup using msconfig and disable them .

  4. Get a registry cleaner and run it

  5. If you've done a recent virus scan and it caught something, this could be a leftover.  I take it you just click the OK button and your system runs right after that?

If so, you may be able to get rid of the phony message by going into msconfig and keeping the file from starting up.  Here's how:

    1. Click on the Start->Run menu item.

    2. In the Run text box, type in msconfig, then press Enter.

    3. In MsConfig, click the Startup tab.

    4. See if there's an entry for that filename.  If there is, clear the checkbox next to its name.

    5. Click OK.

    6. Accept the reboot option.

Hopefully, the message won't come up on the next reboot.  You will, however, get a message about your configuration having changed.  In fact, if you just click OK, you'll get this message after every reboot, however, if you click the checkbox and click OK, the message won't come up again unless and until you make another msconfig change.

    Good luck.

  6. That happens to me as well !!

  7. Corrupted or missing dll files.

Are you able to run your computer? If so, then it might be okay.

    If not, there's always Google.

  12. XP has a event viewer that logs things for a computer tech to diagnose and repair. You may be able to copy or print some log files for someone more knowledgeable to look at for you.
