How do conifers support aphids even though they are not a flowering plant?

Please reply back quick...I need it for my schoolwork.

  1. One way is that aphids suck plant juices from leaves, and conifers have leaves (though not as juicy as most flowering plant leaves).  You might want to do some research on how ants play a role in "farming" aphids as "livestock," moving aphids to greener pastures!
