Question about arbitration

does the judge ever decide the same day as the arbitration? if not how long does it take to reach a decision? my arbitrator was sent the case a month ago and our arbitration is tomorrow. thanks

Arbitration is an alternative dispute resolution designed so the judge does not decide your case but instead an agreement is reached.  If you are having non-binding arbitration then the arbitrator just puts forth a recommendation.... you can agree to some of it, all of it, or none of it.  Those things you agree on are written into a stipulation and taken off the table for future litigation in front of the court.  If it is binding arbitration... you must live with what the arbitrator decides and only in very rare instances will a judge/court get involved in a binding arbitration situation.
