question about baby sugar gliders.can baby sugar gliders actually bite the food or they just l**k it?

i have a baby sugar glider about 2,3 weeks old. he's still young but he knows me so he does not crab or bite me or anything. in fact he does not bite me at all. he also does not really bite his food. when i give him apples he just licks it and kind of nibbles on it. is this normal? I've been making him blends of food and etc so he can eat them easily.

are all the baby sugar gliders like this? or mine has got some kind of abnormality?

  1. That is what they do.  They slowly take the moisture out.   Do you get him some biscuits, also?  They also sell a powder that gives them nutrients.  They will l**k on the apple then they will start biting the apple.  You can also give them applesauce when they are young.  When they get older you can give them other fruits.  Stay away from citrus and bananas this will give them tummy issues.  Good Luck.  I hope this helps.
