Question about baggage claim in 2+ stops flight?

do I have to claim my bags and check in them again during 2+ stops flight? Say, these flights are all from Continental.

yeah, if your first leg is domestic & subsequent legs are international, you just check them in at origin & pick them up at destination.

No, your bags will be checked through to your final destination.  They will be automatically transferred to your new plane(s) (or another traveling to the same city) during your stops.

Are the flights domestic, international, on the same day, etc?

If you are making connections on the same day domestically - you don't pick your bags up until you reach your final destination.
