Question about running?

I play college baseball and at the end of every practice we do conditioning either sprints or run long distance like a mile. I always start cramping up easily when we run, like my foot and the back of my legs. Anybody have advice on how to stop the cramping and how to not get tired easily.

  1. drink a va

  2. You need to drink more water before, during, and after practice.

  3. make sure you drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated. You could try running more often to get your body used to it. Also, try eating a banana every day, the potassium helps with cramps.

  4. Drink more water or a sport drink (like gator aid). Stretching more may before you do your sprints or run long distance.

  5. Bananas have potassium which prevents you from cramping easily. You clearly do not have enough potassium in your diet. Also a good amount of water before you start the conditioning is a great way to have that "little bit" left in the tank so your body will be able to function.

I have created a website service that is adding information daily about baseball and techniques and best practices. I suggest you take a look at the articles "Videotaping," and "Why You Will Never Improve" as they have great information pertaining to the game.
