In theory, don't you just have to pass the bar exam? What if you can pass the bar exam without going to college for it?

Any help would be appreciated

  1. It used to be that you didn't have to actually go to college to be eligible for the bar. This is no longer the case. Pretty much every state requires a college degree and a degree from an ABA accredited law school... And this is to be eligible to take the bar...believe me, the bar is not easy. Even if you could take the bar without going to law school, your chances would be pretty slim.

  2. Nope in the US you have to have gone to an accredited law school or a nationally recognized school from another country and the bar.

  3. No there is much more to it than the 3 day bar exam. in college you learn how to present evidence the rigtht way and how to deal with almost every situation.
