Question about being a Nurse

well I'm in High School and there are giving me a chance for taking 2 years in high school to become a registered nurse and it starts in the 11th grade so when i graduate I'm a have 2 years done how many more will i need to become a full certified nurse?

  1. Many RN programs are just two years. Once you're an RN, you take the certification exam, pass it, and you're a real nurse. But your high school program may work a little differently. Maybe it gives you all the nursing pre-requisites and then you do a year of clinical? Anyway, you really need to get this information from a counselor in your school or in the program.


  2. If its what u wanna do go for it but just remember if it sets u back if u change ur mind and go a different direction..dont do it..do it if you know you'll like it
