Question about being a surrogate...?

I have been thinking of being a surrogate for someone. (Not anyone I know, just thought I would love to give the gift of life) What do you think about it, and how would you go about doing it?

I think it's a great idea.  I have a friend who did it and she was happy she did.  She said she'll never forget the look on the mothers face when she held her daughter.  She's still in the babies life and all is well and everyone is healthy and happy.

If you're not planning on having anymore children yourself and you believe you can handle it emotionally, then give the gift of life to someone who cannot.  I think it's a courageous move on your part and it takes a special kind of person to offer this to someone.
