  1. 1. If you are vegan, Chicken Turkey and Fish are all considered meats

    2. If you are a vegetarian, all the items are considered as meat. On some coastal regions in India, Fish is not considered as meat. Fish is referred to as water squash

  2. I think it's hypocritical for a vegetarian (if they are doing it for moral reasons) to eat any of those things, including fish.  It's still an animal!

  3. Any animal that has been killed for consumption is meat.  My general rule is if it had a face, don't eat it.

  4. they are all animals so they are all meat

  5. They're all meat because they all came from animals.

  6. yes it is sometimes. it depends on wat kind of veggie-tarian u r lol.

anyway-vegan-no milk products, egg products or ANY animal

-ovo- no milk products or any animal ( eats eggs)

that will answer ur own question!

  7. "Meat" used to mean food. Nuts have "meat". Even fruits and vegetables can have "meat".

    Vegetarians do not eat animals.

Cows, chickens, fish, shrimp and clams are all animals.

  8. yes  but my sister is a vegatarian and she eats fish  it all depends on the person

  9. yeah anything that has animal meat in it is animal

  10. Nonveg all

    all concidered as meat

  11. chicken and turkey yes

    not sure 'bout the fish

my friend "claims" to be a vegan and

    eats salmon?!?!?

  12. Chicken and turkey are poultry, fish is fish. Meat would be pork, lamb, beef and venison.

If you eat fish and poultry you would not be considered a true vegetarian. There are all sorts of vegetarians, some who eat eggs and milk products  with their vegetarian diets (ovo-lacto vegetarians) some who eat no animal products at all (true vegetarians) and others who will not touch anything that is not organic.

Many people do not eat any sort of red meat, only poultry and fish, but it does not mean they are vegetarian in any fashion.

  13. What a pile of nonsensical answers you've received!  A vegetarian does not eat meat.  Meat includes chicken, turkey and fish.  Therefore, NO vegetarian eats chicken, turkey or fish.  Period.

  14. if u are going to be a vegeratarian to eat no meat and get the protein u need it will soud crazy but eat alot of hemp seeds they have the highest amount of protine (in seeds) in nature

  15. That depends. Most vegetarians eat no animals. Some people don't eat red meat (beef, deer etc) but still eat white meat (chicken, turkey etc).. while some vegetarians eat no animals apart from fish.

I don't really think people who eat any animal are considered "vegetarian".

  16. I personally consider it all meat and that's why, as a vegetarian, I don't eat any of them, but most people don't consider fish meat and a few vegetarians go and say they're vegetarians that eat "poultry." I think that's sort of rediculious. There are different types of vegetarians also. Lacto-ovo vegetarians don't eat beef, pork, poultry, fish, shellfish or animal flesh of any kind, but do eat eggs and dairy products. Ovo-vegetarians do not eat meat or dairy products but do eat eggs. And there are all other types...

  17. I consider every thing with a face meat so yeah that plus like gelatine n dat

  18. YES!

A pescetarian is someone who only eats fish and sometimes chicken and turkey, though....

You are NOT a vegetarian if you eat ANY animal flesh.

  19. Meat is the flesh of a dead animal.  ANY animal.  Vegetarians don't eat dead animals.  ANY animals.

  20. Yes. If you are a vegetarian you don't eat anything that was once a living animal. If you are a pescatarian, it means you don't eat any meat, with the exception of fish.

  21. chicken and turkey yes.

fish is sometimes. its weird because some sources say yes it is meat. while others say no its not.

...if you wana be vegetearian you can only eat fish. but if you wana eat like chicken and fish, then youd be pescatarian.

  22. yes they are.

chicken, beef, pork, ham, turkey, fish, anything thats flesh from an animal is meat.

  23. I'm a vegaterian but i eat fish. Chicken and turkey are definatly meat but people who don't eat fish are called pescetarians.

  24. chicken and turkey, yes    fish, sometimes

  25. Yes chicken turkey and fish are considered meat but if u want protein you could eat tofu.

Also eating 20 pounds of fruits and vegetables a day will help u lose weight.

  26. fish comes from a fish, turkey comes from a turkey, and chicken comes from a chicken. Therefore, it all comes from animals and YES they are MEAT.

  27. for a full vegetarian, all three are considered meat.

for a pescitarian, they can eat fish, but that's it. So if you're like new about being a veg., go pesci if you need fish/protein in your diet.

  28. it depends on the "type" of vegetarian you are.  My former stepmother is a vegetarian.  She eats dairy products, and on special occasions she'll eat poultry and/or fish.    I know some vegetarians who will consume  dairy products, however won't eat poultry or fish.  And then there's vegans, who won't consume dairy products or poultry or fish of any sort.  It all depends upon why you choose to become a vegetarian.    If you are against the poor treatment of animals for use of food products, then becoming a vegan is the way to go, if you choose to become a vegetarian just for health reason, then perhaps you'll want to include dairy, poultry & fish in your diet.

  29. From a culinary standpoint, no. Chicken and turkey are poultry and fish is fish.

However, biologically they're pretty much all meat. To most vegetarians, they are all considered meat. (Typically, "meat" is used to refer to the flesh of animals.)

  30. Chicken and turkey should be obvious. Fish however, is meat substitute. So fish is not entirely meat.

  31. yes chicken turkey and fish is all meat my way of describing meat is that meat is any animal you have to kill
