I got a letter saying:

all overtime is payed a month in arrears.

so does it mean that basically overtime will be payed at the end of the month. like normal pay? right?

  1. this means if you work overtime in may, you get paid for it in june.


  2. As the others have said, it means you get it one month later.

  3. i think that means your overtime pay will be payed to you with the next months pay, thats usuallly how it works with things like that and any time they dont pay you for they usually give you to take back

  4. I would have thought it means if you work overtime in May youd get paid for it in June, so its paid a month in arrears.

  5. Any overtime you do this month will be paid with the following months pay

    ie overtime worked in June will be paid in July
