Question about birds called bobwhite quial they still in the egg

ok soo its been 23 days and i heard them chirping today and i didnt no so i touched them and moved them a lil but now they stopped chirping is this bad or are they about to hatch thnx!!! xD

If they're still alive they should hatch really soon. The fact that they stopped chirping is a bad sign, though. Don't touch them anymore and keep your fingers crossed.

Chirping is a good sign, it means they are healthy and well on their way to hatching, you did a good job raising them! Their silence is natural, when baby birds are ready to hatch, they chirp to let the parents know. When they are silent, it just means they are tuckered out from moving around, and figuring out how to get out of that cramped space that is now too small! Even still, keep an eye on those little ones, and good luck with the hatching!
