I am 35 weeks preggo. I know delivery day is still a few weeks away but I wanted to know if babies are active when you start to go into labor and while in labor. Or is everyone different? My baby is usually active and I wanted to know if he stop being active does that mean I will start going into labor or should I be concerned and call my doctor?

  1. From what I have heard, It's like the calm before the storm. I don't think they are as active before labor. I think they are storing their energy too!!

  2. they usually become less active when you are on your way to labor the few days before.. you will know when you are in labor though.. just time out your contractions and when they get to be consistant in strength and about 5-7 minutes apart start heading to the hospital..

  3. I think it is different for everyone.  My signal right before I went into labor is I was just so much more calm than I had been in a long time, next thing you know my contractions started coming 5 minutes apart and got longer and harder....then my beautiful daughter was born.

Around 35 weeks your baby doesn't move a whole lot anymore because they don't have room like they used to.  My baby started slowing down around 35 weeks.  If you are worried though go ahead and call the doctor, it never hurts to ask questions.

Also don't worry about labor!  Everyone had me so worked up about it and then when it happened it was not near as bad as they all made it sound.  I was only in pain for a little bit and then I got the epidural and everything was great!  Enjoy, although these 9 months seem so slow once your baby gets here time flies and you can't ever get it back!

    God Bless
