Question about birth control shot. how long will it last?

My wife just got the shot because she didn't think I wanted kids! Now I'm pIS_ED! I know the shot expires in 3 months, but my sister was on the shot, and after she got off of it, it still took her 3 years to get pregnant. I want to have kid(s) before my parents are no longer around to see them!! Not only that, I'm 29 and I don't wanna be going to a college graduation with my nurse and a walker. This sucks!

One shot is not going to do that much harm. Some women go off it and get pregnant right away!

It can take up to 2 years for the injection to come out of your system and periods to start again, but most women it's about a year. I was on the injection, I missed it in the june, my periods came back in february and i got pregnant in march. Every woman is different and you can get pregnant as soon as you miss an injection, don't worry too much.

dont do it. i did it and i had my period 4 times in one month

Yeah that sucks big time... My girlfriend wanted to have children and had to wait about a 1 1/2 years to get preggo... She too got the shot, then a few months later decided she wanted to have kids but that shot took FOREVER to ware off... I think they say 3 months to cover their Azz (just in case ppl get pregnant the company wont be the ones to blame)

My friend was think she would never be able to have kids... She just had her second baby in march
