what is a high card ,

and a low card in blackjack?

[stupid question, i know]

In blackjack, cards are worth what they are ex.2's are worth 2

but 10's J's Q's and K's are worth 10 and A's are worth 1 or 11. So High cards are simply 10's - A's in the Deck. Jokers are high as well if you play with them but I don't

high card is the card with the higher place, like 10-Ace

same with the low card, 1-9

High cards are tens and face cards, such as Jack Queen and King.

Aces can count for either 11 or 1, so they are both high and low.

Other cards are low cards, such as 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 etc.

If you are asking the question from the standpoint of Blackjack Card Counting here is the way that works: Start a new shoe with a count of Zero. Assign a value of +1 to 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7,(low cards) and -1 to tens, faces and aces (high cards). Everything else is 0, or neutral.

Low card is 2 its 2.

Point of game to get 21.

If you have 14 or lower hit, if you have 15-16  it is up to you. if you have 17-20 Stay, and if you have 21 well you win...
