Question about bowling?

Hi, I just learned how to hook (correctly) with my friends fingertip ball and was wondering if i can get my black Ice bowling ball re drilled and plugged. sorry I'm kind of new to bowling (seriously anyway). Thanks!

Definitely yes.  Check with your pro shop to see if the Black Ice would work with the lane conditions you usually bowl on, because it may not be aggressive enough if lanes have heavy oil.  Your pro shop can also adjust the coverstock and drill an "exotic" drilling pattern to max out the ball's hook rating.

    If a full fingertip grip span is too wide and/or uncomfortable to bowl with, since you're new to bowling, try a relaxed or semi-fingertip grip, which will still allow you to hook the ball.  Just remember, the bowling ball holes are based upon your level of comfort and most bowlers don't really need finger or thumb grips unless your skin is truly sensitive or you need serious gripping power.  My layout usually is the RICO pattern with no finger grips and a thumb slug.  Ask your driller about it and tell him or her how your bowling style is and how your grip is too.
