Well im going to get a new computer soon and i have to transfer all my files from this computer to the new one, and i dont wanna put all the files on CD's because they only hold 700 mb. So if i want to put my files on DVD's, do i just burn it as a data file like i usually would on a CD? Or do i need to get a DVD burning program?

  6. NO JUST BURN AS DATA FILE .ONTO DVD .... ALSO U CAN USE A  USB FLASH DRIVE AS WELL ...

  7. most cd burning programs can burn dvds as well. you obviously need a dvd drive that can burn dvds.

I would really recommend using a flash drive or an external harddrive to move all your files- it will be like 500 times easier. You can even use an ipod or something.

  8. There is another way, if you are no longer going to be using the old computer. Pull out the hard drive and add it to the new computer. Of course will have to name the drive a different letter. But that would eliminate trying to get all of your files off the the drive.  You would have it on your new computer and when you want to look for a file just change the drive letter and get it. You can also drag it onto the new hard drive if you would like.  But for me that would be the simplest way to do it but of course it would really help if you had someone there to help you install it into you new computer.  Good Luck!

  9. im not sure what burning program your using

if you need one  can down load

    and yes   data

    One thing dude

your going to need the originall programs  to reinstall

i know  because  i have been there   email me if ya need

    hey  re read your question

why not  use the hard drive you are using now

put it on the new computer   then once  its loaded

and the other for  exrta   two hard drives

    i have two

or  you  can  get your new computer

and hook the old one to the new one  and send  over the inter net
