Question about buying a car (Mustang GT Premium)?

I was wondering when a company lists their car and says (for example Ford Mustang): 'Base Price MSRP: $27,420'

How much does it end up being? (how about for a Mustang GT Premium)?

Thanks for the help, will award best answer asap!

  1. I guess you should also check insurance quotes for the car before buying one, for example here: http://autoinsurance.maclenet.com

Such a sporty car costs a lot to insure.

  2. If you are buying the Mustang from a dealership you will pay the $27,420, then taxes which will be roughly another $2000 (depending what the tax rate is where you live) then probably another $500-$1000 on what I call BS bills. Which is basically c**p they make up to get more money(like maintenance fee, lot fee and other things they say they had to pay to have it on the lot).  If you can manage to find one that has been for sell on the lot for a while some times you can drop the price some.  (My truck's original price was $18,000, without tax and fees, but it had been there a while so by then they just wanted to get rid of it so they settled for $17,500 with tax and fees

  3. For a 2009 Mustang GT Premium it will start at $28,375 without tax and added with tax it will be over $30,000.
