If I am looking at a 2000-2002 model what milage should it have.

I have heard that these cars need to be driven so 70-80k would be right.

Is it really a negative if they are 50k miles or less.

Also if I pick a automatic transmision will that insure that it wasnt thrashed at high revs.

Thanks

  1. Oh dear lord a Corvette ?

They  are fine, they look great, make a nice noise but ...

Then you come to a corner and it will try ti kill you,

Porsche is pure quality, trouble free and a head turner too !!!

Bloody Germans are good at car building !

  2. I guess you should also check insurance quotes for the car before buying one, for example here: http://carinsurance.deep-ice.com

Such an expensive sporty car like a Boxter costs a lot to insure.

  3. Nah not really low miles should be fine, and an automatic would likely mean someone bought it for show. You should also look at Corvettes too. They got more power, but a crappier interior. :p

  4. The boxsters are very nice, go with the stick, its a sports car, why not? Ya, look at some Corvettes though, very fast, and anyone who says that a vette can't corner, well they probably have not driven one(a new one that is), i may be mistaken, but the vettes seem to do very well in the lemans style racing, and that isnt exactly a straight line. just some food for thought.
