I've been wearin contact lense for a month now and I wanted to get another set but only this time, I want them colored. I'm 15 years old, do you think I'm old enough to go to the optical center at walmart and buy some? What do I have to do? Do I just give the prescription and say what?

  1. tell them you'd like to order more contacts and the color u want etc.. they will be more than happy to help!!

  2. A contact lens first a medical device and requires a prescription, meaning that you need a doctors signature to order lenses, even colored ones.  The Rx that your doctor wrote for you is for a specific type of CL (like if you were taking medication its specific).  Go back to the doctor and I am sure he/she will give you another Rx and recommendations for colored lenses--even some to try out(unless they find something wrong with our eyes... they will let you know, cause colored lenses come in very limited varieties)

You might also need your parents approval since you are under 18.. I dont know how walmart works, I support my independent doctor and purchase from them!

By the way, if some one gives you or orders you CL that ARE NOT YOUR RX THEN THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW!
