Question about buying flight tickets?

im going to Oregon next month and i want to leave around the 18th of July.. would it be cheaper do you think after the 4th of july to buy the ticket or should i buy now.? a friend told me it might be cheaper after the holiday ..but i don know if they know what they're talking about..

Flights fly fuller (generally) in the US in summer, and sometimes are even oversold.  I would NOT wait until inside 14 days to purchase a summer flight--if I wanted to get a cheaper fare.  Cheapest fares typically require 21 days, or more, advance purchase.  Try http://www.bookingbuddy.com

i dont no if the holiday would effect prices, actually im pretty sure it would, not if you are buying a ticket for the 18th. where do u get your tickets? how much did they say it would cost? i use this site i found about a year ago. http://itravel2001.tk

ive used it 3 times since than and have always found it cheaper than expedia and those kinds of sites. this site connects u directly to the company. no expedia middleman in the way.
