Question about buying glasses?

so im sure about the exam cost but what about the lenses? My prescription is very strong. Just an estimate

exam- $ 90

lens-

frames- $20 -30

I assume it depends where you live. My script is also very very strong and my lenses costs $400AUD (Australian Dollars). But i know i can get cheaper ones but they will be thicker then the $400 ones, so its just up to you what quality lenses you want or are willing to settle for.

I want to know where you get frames for $30! Mine cost over $100...

My lenses cost about $140 without insurance, with it they cost about $70.
