Question about buying herbs?

theres a store called nature's emporium near where i live and they sell remedial herbs and stuff. i was wondering if i had to buy this herb called saw palmetto would i need a prescription or something?

Saw Palmeto L. Serona repens syn. Sabal serrulata   may be bought over the counter, Natures Sunshine is an American brand of high quality......but make sure you are taking them for the right reason, as with many herbs, they have many actions in the body, and would be ineffectual otherwise.

no... saw palmetto is sold over the counter in tablets, capsules and liquid..it is very common and resonably priced.

you do not need a perscription to buy herbs. but a good book about herbs and there benefits is a good idea and some medications do react to herbs so another good reason to buy a book

NO prescription  that's why the drug industry hates alternative medicine they dint make money...Saw Palmetto is for the Prostrate all men should be taking it! most of this herb comes from a palm tree that grows in Fl. it will strengthen your Prostrate

No it is a herbal formula that is sold almost everywhere, be sure and check expiration dates, dose sizes, etc to get the best value compare labels.

But also do some research to be sure you are buying the herbal or supplement that you need for your specific health concern, taking something you don't need even if it is natural can be adverse.
