Question about buying high-priced items on EBay??

How safe is it to buy a high priced item on ebay? Im not talking about $100. im talking about $500+. Please everyone give your input and experiences. Im thinking about buying a HDTV and i found that they are cheaper on ebay.

You need a seller with a high feedback rating and who has been a member of Ebay for a long time.   One scam on Ebay is when a seller gets a high feedback rating by selling low cost items in a very short time.   He then swindles someone on a high priced item.   I would not buy from anyone who has been an Ebay member for less than 8 months.   By the way, if you want to know a way to get some money back every time you buy something from Ebay, then send me an email.
