When someone is searching through your personal stuff [my purse] at work, during a check at the end of the night, is it against the law for them to reach inside my purse and move all the stuff around, and unzip the zippers? I know that they can look in it, and shift it from the bottom, but I have never had anyone reach in my bag and go through every part of my purse, not even at the airport.

  1. As long as you are present when it happens. They don't have the right if you are not present. Also make sure you have a witness present. If anything is broken they are responsible for fixxing or a new one.
