  1. as i can't see your birds i can't really say what they would like like when bred,  basically the offspring will have colors of mum and dad or both ....

just wondering why didn't you get a proper matched pair

*eg a female and male apricot call

    *or a pair of silvers?

nothing wrong with the mixes though ..

the offspring of a silver and an apricot won't be purebread or show quality

the ducks will become sexually mature at the age of 20-24 weeks old.

to tame calls it's quite easy as they are genrallly quita a friendly and easy tamed breed

the best way is through their stomach if that makes sense

sit down closely and gently call yo them  with tib-bits ..

eg a SMALL piece of bread . .  or a worm (which they LOVE)

mind you do not give bread too often it isn't too good for them .. but wont hurt if given as a treat now and again

when calling your ducks use the same tone of voice each time and use a particular word

eg "come duckies" or c'mon ducks ."

my ducks and chickens  come when i make a clicking sound with my mouth :P and the geese alll run to me when i say "c'mon"..

  2. All ducks become sexually mature at 6 months of age. Males will start to breed and females will start to lay eggs. SOme females it depends on them, some may go as long as a year until they lay an egg. All ducks are different and can be early and late.

Well it depends on the female, if she is apricot or silver. If she is apricot then the offspring will have mostly that brown color with a lil bit of silver in them. If the female is a silver they would have a lil brown color in them. This is a pic of a

Well it really depends on how old they are. If theyre less than 2 weeks old it will be easyier to get them use to you. The older they most likely wont get use to you. So if you are getting thm young, if you spend lots of time with them and let them outside to play and you go and stay with them a while each day they will might follow you. But if you get them when they are over 3 weeks thean there isnt really anyhting you can do. They wont bite at you they will only mst likly come for food and such but will hold there own.

    Hoped I helped you out.

    !!! Good Luck !!!,
