Question about callaway irons?

Can someone tell me the differance between the 2008 big bertha irons,and the x-18,and x-20 irons.?

  1. About $200 and the looks.  Alot of clubmakers make claims based on Higher trajectory softer feel longer distance.  All this means nothing unless your hitting the ball properly. for beggining golfers it really makes no difference what over sized irons you hit UNLESS you care about having top line equipment to look cool in front of your friends.  I suggest buying a used set of oversized irons made after 2003.  You'll save alot of money.  Use that money on lessons.


  2. To keep it simple

    the Callaway X20 forged are a much better club if you are low single figures looking to shape shots.

    Big berthas much easier to hit for higher handicappers

  3. The Birtha clubs are the most forgiving for new golfers

    Birtha irons have thick (topline), wider (soul), full (offset), and high (trajectory)...

    X-20 irons have a medium (topline), medium (soul), full (offset), and a high (trajectory)...
