  1. You will get a ticket if the light was red.

It will record the vehicles license plate number and send the registrant a ticket in the mail.

  2. the first two answers are right, but if you don't want it to happen again, spray some shiny clearcoat on your license plate, or just polish it. if the plate is shiny enough, the flash will reflect fromit and the camera can't get a clear pic of your plate.

  3. As you stated, there was no sign and if you came to complete stop and did not interfere with oncoming traffic then you should be fine.

I would just for your protection go back and take pictures of that intersection just so that nothing changes if in fact you do get a ticket or you have to go to court.

    Good luck.

  4. You will only get  a ticket if you were speeding  or  made a wrong turn or when the lite was red.

  5. Some states (yours obviously must) have "right turn on red after a complete stop."   If that's the law in your state  and you came to a complete stop you should not get a ticket.   Maybe someone else actually went through the intersection at the same time.   If you were turning I doubt the camera would get your tag number.      The ticket goes to the car's owner as listed on the registration.... It's then the owners problem to  take it from there.... I've read that the resolution of the pics is pretty bad and often can't even be read....

  6. Cameras at intersections are designed to capture an image of the vehicle and tag number if the driver "runs" the light.  I understand other states, especially Virginia, use cameras for speeders and other driving violations as well and believe the camera "shoots" toward the front showing the driver.

In Atlanta this is a huge problem and cameras are installed at dangerous intersections, especially North Atlanta area.
