Question about canelling flights for US Airways?

If I cancel a flight and schedule another one for less than the original flight will the remaining money go towards the changing fee? Please answer for US Airways, not any other airline

Yes. I did that on US air.

Depends on the conditions of your specific ticket.  If it's non-changeable, the whole ticket could be gone, and you'd have to pay the full price of the new flight.
