  1. All I need to say to you man is money. That's all you need for a system man honestly if you are only 16 and have anywhere from $800 and up waiting to be spent I'm glad this is the place you want to be. These are the accessories that most people have in their car audio systems: aftermarket headunit, speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers, dynamat, box, wires, big battery or capacitor, high end alternator. All of these things play huge roles in a good system. Since you don't know much about audio, go with the cheaper stuff, so if you mess up, it's not a waste of a big load of cash. A subwoofer is a larger speaker that pushes immense amount of bass and needs to be amplified by a monoblock class D amplifier that pushes its rated or a little higher than its rated RMS wattage. It needs to be hooked up professionally for starters, because it's not an easy task. The headunit makes you able to connect the subwoofers and speakers because of their RCA's. Speakers make quality along with the headunit of the sound better, so the speakers aren't needed. All you need to bump now is a single 15" kicker L7 being pumped at 2 ohms by an amplifier that pushes its RMS at 1300w at least, because that's what it handles. Get a cheap kenwood headunit and have that installed with cheap kenwood speakers for best sound. Bass slammers ported 15" single enclosure will do the trick, go to an audio place they'll help you out. Good luck!

  2. depends on what u wanna run?

if u want two 12 inch subs go with JL audio....best subs ever made.

then youll need cables, amp, box, radio, 6x9 speakers.

theres alot of small things to likes nuts and botls

it all depends on how much your willing to spend

but i say you get either kickers or JL audio for your subs and rockford fosgate for your amps.

  5. well tim the thing is if you know nothing about this then any info we give you is still going to make no sense at all. the other thing is how much money do you have that plays a big part in it all. i would suggest going to best buy or circuit city they dont have the top of the line stuff but its not real expensive and they can explain everything to you and hook it up for you or you can go to a car audio shop
