what are some careers that make pretty good money like at least 50,000 a year but preferably more and that require 4 years or less of schooling.

  1. I've heard that nursing is a big buck industry.  But it requires a lot of education and as a patient I would hope my nurse would be educated.

    Of course, the best way to start at a salary of $50K would be to be the boss' kid...or spouse....or family member.  

    Most jobs that start at that salary require an education.  Set your monetary sights lower if you're just starting out.  


  2. May need to adjust that amount to starting at $40,000 and within a year or two be at $50 plus.

    I would look into an accounting degree, financial planner, maybe nursing, physical therapist specializing in something, sales, and I'm sure several more.

    Go to Salary.com and put in your city and several different titles it will give an idea about salaries.

    Remember salary isn't everything. Liking your job and being good at it is also important.
